Fall 2025 Intern Wrap Up

by Bri Rogers

As winter begins and we wrap up the Fall 2025 semester, it’s been really special to look back on how much we’ve grown during our time at Olivia Management. This internship gave each of us a chance to learn in a hands-on, supportive environment, and we are walking away with experiences we could not have received anywhere else. We put together a few reflections to share what this semester meant to us. As we reflect on our time here, we are grateful for everything we learned and for the people who made this semester such a meaningful experience.

“Interning at Olivia Management has been such a rewarding experience. Over the course of the semester, I’ve been able to dive into projects that challenged me and pushed me to grow, all while collaborating with an incredibly supportive and intentional team. Something I loved watching throughout the semester was how much productivity came from everyone’s different skills and strengths. Every person on the team brings something unique to the table, and that is exactly what makes OM so strong. Seeing how a team like this operates taught me so much about what effective collaboration really looks like. Erin showed me firsthand what a grounded, intentional leader looks like. The opportunities I had to meaningfully contribute has strengthened my confidence and helped me better understand my abilities. It has also shown me what it looks like to be part of a company that truly cares about their artists. I’m walking away from this internship with new skills and a deeper sense of direction for where I want to go next in the industry!” - Bri

“My time at Olivia Management has been such a formative experience. Before walking into the office I was a bundle of nerves and I didn't know what to expect, but there was such a welcoming atmosphere from day one. Erin and her team did everything they could to provide learning opportunities and knowledge about the music industry. Their positivity and support lended itself to my personal and career growth. I was able to hone in on my time management and organizational skills while making my way through google sheets, BandsinTown, and MailChimp. I can't wait to take these skills into future internships and my professional career. I also can't thank Olivia Management enough for the opportunity and kindness they showed day in and day out!” - Sydney

Interning for Olivia Management has been one of the most formative parts of my professional career yet. I have truly learned so much from this team and the various tasks that they hand us as interns. Ever since my freshman year, it has been a goal of mine to intern for OM because I heard nothing but great reviews from previous interns. In my time as an intern this semester, their reputation stands true. The culture of this company is truly what makes it such a special place to intern at. From running errands and doing marketing emails to taking brain breaks to watch dancing with the stars, you never know what the day is going to hold and what task you’re going to be trusted with next. This is something that makes OM such a special places to intern at! - Maddie

Olivia Management is full of people who genuinely care about where you currently are in your professional career and truly invest in you to make you feel confident in where you're headed. This was my second semester interning at OM, and the longer I have been here, the harder it will be to leave this lovely team of women! Everybody is so warm and welcoming, is able to laugh and enjoy each other's company, and is able to work as a well-oiled machine to make sure every artist and person they work with is heard and taken care of. It is rare to find an environment that presents itself that way and maintains it every day! Erin, especially, is so good at sitting down with us as interns and answering any questions we have about anything music business (and life). Everybody acknowledges your strengths and what you enjoy doing, and gives you tasks to hone those skills or even develop new ones! This internship has played a key role in helping me figure out what I want to do when I leave Olivia Management and college, and I will forever be grateful! - Sam

Spring 2025 Intern Wrap-Up!

by Julia Reiss

As my internship at Olivia Management ends, I’ve been reflecting on just how much I’ve learned and grown over the past few months. From day one, we were encouraged to dive in, ask questions, and soak up as much as we could. This blog post is a collection of reflections from me and my fellow interns—each of us sharing what made this experience meaningful, inspiring, and unforgettable.

Julia Reiss

"Interning at Olivia Management was the perfect way to wrap up my college experience. As my last internship before graduating this May and entering the real world, I truly couldn’t have asked for a better one. The OM team is incredibly supportive and welcoming, and every day in the office was genuinely fun. I learned so much about what it means to support artists behind the scenes, and being part of a team that puts so much heart into everything they do made the experience even more special. Erin has been the absolute best boss—she’s so knowledgeable about the industry and always takes the time to offer guidance and support. Whether it’s answering questions, sharing advice, or encouraging us to trust ourselves, she truly cares about helping us grow. I’m so grateful to have learned from her and to have been a part of such a kind and passionate team.”

“Interning at Olivia Management has been the best experience I could have asked for. Everyone says "right place right time" and this was DEFINITELY the right place and the right time. It was a big deal to move 10 hours away from the home I've known and loved for 22 years, but Erin and the team at Olivia Management were the most welcoming. I have gained so much experience and knowledge working alongside the wonderful women at OM. Erin has been an open book of knowledge and wisdom and I couldn't be more grateful to have worked underneath her. No amount of words can explain how thankful I am to Erin and the other staff members at OM for creating such a welcoming space, while also setting goals for us to accomplish. I'll forever miss our weekly Monday morning meetings, our snack corner, and all the amazing people at OM!”

Sam Van Arsdale

“Interning at Olivia Management for the past few months has been one of the most encouraging and lovely experiences! Within the first day of being here, I was treated as a vital part of the team and workspace, and I think that is a very rare thing to experience at any internship, let alone a first! Throughout my time at OM, I have gained so much valuable knowledge about everything that goes into growing and sustaining an artist's career. I was met with so much grace and understanding by the ladies on the OM team when given new and exciting tasks every day. I'll miss the ability to be in the office every other day where I not only get to listen in on meetings with artists and other important people in artists' careers, but where I also have been able to meet a couple of OM's amazing artists and make meaningful connections with each individual team member. All of that being said, the way Erin was such an open book and was so generous with her time truly made the internship even more worthwhile. It displays the way the OM team cares about not just the company but the future of the music industry in general. If it wasn't already obvious, I loved every minute of this semester and am so grateful for the opportunity to have interned here!”

“I’ve had the incredible privilege of interning at Olivia Management throughout my senior year, and I couldn’t be more grateful. The knowledge and experience gained here are truly invaluable. The team is amazing —always supportive, patient, and willing to answer any questions I have. I’ve genuinely loved and enjoyed working with each one of them. This experience has taught me so much about the music industry, from day to day operations to the bigger picture. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to contribute and grow my professional skills in such a positive and supportive environment.”

If any of this sounded interesting to you and you want to be a part of an amazing team, I definitely recommend applying (applications for Fall 2025 internships go live mid-june). This internship has been such a rewarding experience, and it's a great way to learn, grow, and work with some truly awesome people.

As a sophomore, this was my very first interning experience and I was super nervous to start. However, I soon found out that there was nothing to worry about. Olivia Management has a team of wonderful and supportive ladies who deeply care about who you are as a person. Every question I had was answered with care and I always felt at ease working alongside the OM team. I have gained so much experience and knowledge these past few months from Erin and everybody else that I will carry with me for a very long time.
My favorite memory was working at our AMERICANAFEST events and seeing all of the team’s preparation in action. The shows put in perspective to me the meaning behind the work OM does and how it affects these artists’ lives. Every little thing OM does has a purpose. They put so much work in and to see it all unfold was amazing. I’ve truly learned so much and I will miss everybody so much next semester! (I’ll be studying abroad in Greece so I’ll survive, but still, love you all!!)

Interning at Olivia Management this fall for my second semester at OM has been nothing short of amazing! As a senior music business major, I am always looking for hands on, real world experience for my career. Olivia Management has provided me with just that! Throughout my time here, I have had the privilege of working alongside a team of dedicated professionals who are deeply passionate about their work. I am so grateful for the opportunity to return this fall as an intern after my summer semester with Olivia Management! I truly am going to miss coming into the office everyday and working with the best team around.

Interning at Olivia Management has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The team is fantastic—always supportive and willing to answer any questions I have. I have loved working with each one of them. Their guidance has been invaluable, and I've learned so much about the music industry, from day-to-day operations to the bigger picture. I also had the opportunity to connect with some wonderful people in the music industry that I would not have met without this internship. I truly appreciate the opportunity to contribute and grow in such a positive and collaborative environment. I cannot wait to continue being a part of The Olivia Management team next semester!

During the last few months, my knowledge of the music industry has greatly expanded through my first-hand experiences with our artists and team at Olivia Management. I’ve had many incredible once-in-a-lifetime experiences, such as assisting with the development of Olivia Management’s AMERICANAFEST show and getting to go backstage and run merch for our artist, Mary Gauthier, at Nashville’s historically famous Ryman Auditorium. In addition, I’ve gained insight into tour operations, tips and tricks to build artists’ fanbases and elements in the interconnections between artist, management, and other key team members which together form the artist’s success. I’ll cherish not only the personal growth and knowledge I’ve gained at Olivia Management, but also the relationships with my fellow team members I’ve made in office and outside at special events. One of my favorite fun memories at OM was our pumpkin carving contest! Another amazing memory was the OM coffee and donut hour before our OM AMERICANAFEST showcase where I had the opportunity to meet some of our lovely artists and consulting clients! I’ll miss coming into the office and seeing these sweet, caring ladies next semester but will absolutely be keeping in touch!
