What do you want to get out of this internship?
I want to learn about everything that goes into being an artist manager and be challenged along the way. I also hope it gives me clarity in what I want to do after graduation.
What do you love to do? Hobbies? Activities?
Besides going to see concerts, I love singing and playing the guitar, horseback riding and anything to do with nature (hiking, camping, kayaking etc). I absolutely love traveling and taking photos/videos at any chance I get and enjoy editing those photos and videos afterwards.
If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life what would it be?
Probably sushi… or frozen custard from Andy’s!
Favorite musicians, artists, genres, equipment, shows you’ve been to... Tell us anything you love about music.
Growing up in Europe, we had a lot of music from the U.K. like Elton John, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Black Sabbath who still remain as some of my favorites to listen to. Besides them, I also love Myles Kennedy, Eric Clapton, Journey, Bruce Springsteen, Guns N Roses, Chris Stapleton, Maren Morris, JOHNNYSWIM, John Mayer etc. I could keep on going because I listen to practically every genre depending on my mood.
A few musicians that I’m crazy about are John Mayer, Slash and Elton John X Bernie Taupin.
My favorite shows that I’ve been to probably have to be Guns N Roses, Billie Eilish and Heart/Joan Jett.
Why did you choose to intern here?
I love the close-knit team that Olivia Management has, which gives me the best chance in figuring out whether artist management is for me or not. Also, having a smaller team really shows the passion and love for music and the industry this team has, and how hard they work to make their dreams and their artists’ dreams happen.
What is your favorite part about Nashville?
That it is a big city with a small town feel and that what is seemingly just a country music town, actually hides a lot of gems if you look close enough. There is everything from bluegrass to folk to country to rock to roots.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I know I want to be somewhere in the live entertainment side of things but where exactly? Only time will tell. All I know is that I will end up where I’m supposed to end up at!
